MemoCove is a calm, personal place for sharing small moments of everyday life — no popularity contests, no pressure to perform. These Community Guidelines keep it kind and safe for everyone. They apply to everything you share here: posts, comments, groups (their names, descriptions, and cover images), profiles, and invitations. By using MemoCove you agree to follow them; they are part of our Terms of Use.
Be kind and respectful
Treat others the way you would want to be treated. MemoCove is built for quiet, genuine sharing between real people. Disagreement is fine; cruelty, harassment, and contempt are not.
What is not allowed
To keep the community safe, the following content and behavior are prohibited. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users.
- Illegal content or activity, including anything that violates applicable laws.
- Child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) of any kind, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, and the sexualization of minors. This is strictly prohibited and will be reported to the relevant authorities.
- Harassment, bullying, threats, or hate speech, including attacks based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, or age.
- Violence and dangerous content, including graphic violence, incitement of violence, or promotion of self-harm.
- Sexually explicit content and non-consensual intimate imagery.
- Spam, scams, and platform manipulation, including deceptive, repetitive, or automated activity.
- Impersonation of other people, brands, or organizations.
- Privacy violations, such as sharing other people’s private or identifying information without consent.
- Intellectual property infringement, including posting content you do not have the right to share.
Groups and comments
Groups are small, trust-based spaces. Respect the purpose of each group and the people in it, and keep what is shared in a group inside that group. When commenting, stay constructive. Each post’s author chooses who can see it and can remove any comment on it; please respect those choices, and remember that on a post shared to a group, your comment is seen by the members of that group.
Reporting and blocking
If you see content or behavior that breaks these guidelines, please tell us. MemoCove lets you report posts, comments, accounts, and groups, and block any person so that neither of you sees the other’s posts and comments. Reporting is confidential: the person you report is never told who reported them.
How we enforce these guidelines
We review reports of objectionable content and abusive behavior and act on them within 24 hours — removing content that violates these guidelines and, where appropriate, warning, suspending, or permanently banning the accounts responsible. A suspended account cannot sign in and its content is hidden from everyone; we email the account holder when this happens. Depending on severity, we may act with or without prior notice. Serious violations, such as threats to safety or CSAM, may be reported to law enforcement. If you believe we made a mistake, email us and we will take another look.
